My honey do list today is pretty simple; fix the slow leak in the water tank outside.

  • My lady is not very demanding, so when she asks me to do something it is usually because it really needs to be done.

This flat is pretty new and most of the stuff works totally fine, but once in a while there is a rotten egg that needs to be tossed out and replaced. I will get my writing work done first, which takes me about two and a half hours to do, and then I will work on the hot water heater leak and get it fixed. It is a really slow leak around the connection where the water goes into the tank from the cold water inlet. I need to loosen the water heating device connection and add some teflon tape on it and hopefully that gets the HVAC unit working again without any leaks. I think I can do it without draining the tank and it should only take me a few minutes to get done. If I can’t do it I may call the local business who installed it and see if they can send out an HVAC tech to take care of the job for me. I would like to do it on my own though because it is such an easy fix and I don’t want to waste their time on something that is so trivial to fix. The propane boiler we bought from them works great except for this little slow leak that leaks a shot glass of water once a week.
