My wife and I loved to travel. These past couple of years we have done really well for ourselves so we have been taking more vacations. We treat ourselves to nicer restaurants and hotels because we are able to afford these things now. We don’t have any kids right now either so we are trying to take advantage of the time we have together while we have extra money to spend on vacations. However, going on lavish vacations was not always the norm for us. We have been to many motels and eaten at gas stations before. I remember one time vidily that was horrible. We decided we wanted to take a long road trip around the country. So in order to save some money we booked very cheap motels along the way. All we really cared about was seeing the country not where we were staying. In this hotel the heating and cooling system didn’t work at all. We were in the desert so it got really hot during the day and freezing cold at night. There was no air conditioning at all coming out of the vents when we wanted to cool off in the room and at night the heating system smelled like something was on fire. I called the front desk and asked about the heating and cooling system and they said it was like this in every room. I guess you get what you pay for when it comes to hotels because now all the hotels we stay in have a top of the line heating and cooling systems.
