I genuinely like to cook, but i’ll spend hours making a recipe from scratch… The problem is, it gets genuinely sizzling in my current kitchen in our current house, especially in the winter with the central heater going, as much as I like to cook, I don’t like to sweat unless I am getting paid, and so, I turn the temperature control on the central heater down when I am cooking, but someone in the property inevitably turns it back up again, and really, is it so hard to just put on a sweatshirt plus socks? Especially when I am slaving over a gourmet dinner that all the people will enjoy.
There is no room in the kitchen for a fan, unless I get my spouse to install a ceiling fan, but who puts a ceiling fan in the kitchen? The kitchen is just too small plus the window isn’t big enough for a fan.
I’ve even considered putting an a/c in the window, but, of course, one wouldn’t fit either. I suppose I could try a portable a/c, but, again, there is no room in the kitchen. The kitchen is moderate in the Summer too, but it gets especially sizzling in the winter with the central heater going. I’ve decided to just start opening the window when I am cooking during the winter. I don’t know if it makes the central heater kick in more, but, at this point, I don’t care. I just don’t like being sizzling plus if they want to continue to enjoy their gourmet dinners, I need to cool off the kitchen.
