There is nothing I enjoy more than when the cold weather starts to set in.
It really gets me in the mood for the holidays.
The holidays are a good time for being inside with family. I like to spend my weekends with my family. We have a game night sometimes. I light a bunch of candles and I also make snacks for us to eat. The heat from the furnace really keeps us the most comfortable during this time too. Sometimes when I am cooking you can see it get so warm inside from the heat that the windows fog up. Those are my favorite times. My least favorite times are the ones where we are having this type of day and all of a sudden the furnace stops working. We stop hearing the air come from the vent and the house seems to cool off. We find that we are wearing more sweaters. When this does happen I usually call our local HVAC business to set up an appointment to have an HVAC technician come to our house. None of us can fix something like that. It is important we call in a professional to make sure the job is done right. If we just let someone we knew do it, then we could end up in more trouble. That could be convenient sometimes because it would get done faster. Getting the job done right is what we care about. After I make an appointment we usually all just go back to what we were doing. We may even have added a few extra warm layers though.
