I met my current boyfriend, Mark, when he came out to fix my HVAC unit. The thing wasn’t cooling my house the way it should’ve been and Mark is the HVAC technician who the HVAC service and supply company had sent out to fix it. Mark is really attractive, and in good physical shape. He also had a good job and seemed to know what he was doing. I was single and looking, so the first thing I did was check for a wedding band, and there wasn’t one. I decided to chat him up a little bit while he worked on my HVAC system. I asked him about what it takes to become an HVAC technician. I never realized how much education and training it took to become an HVAC technician. I offered him a soda or a snack, but he refused. I was afraid that I was starting to annoy him. I probably made his work harder, chatting him up, because he worked on my HVAC system for a long time. But he fixed it. And, before he left, I made the first move and invited him back for dinner and he accepted! Now we are happily dating. Dating an HVAC technician is really great most of the time, except when he is on call after hours, but then he makes good money doing that. And Mark has worked for the same HVAC service and supply company since he graduated HVAC training. Mark is a really nice and steady guy. And he maintains my HVAC for free. I’m glad I’m dating an HVAC technician.
