When we first moved here, I was taking my first real position of responsibility early in my career.

I came out of college and was super serious about getting ahead inside the commercial HVAC of the company offices.

And I also met and married my wife during those first 5 years. Moving here though felt like we were real adults. Becoming homeowners was a big reason for that. We were looking for a place where we could one day start a family. And we found just the spot in the house we’re still in today. But that’s been nearly 30 years ago. And this will be the last Summer we have any of our kids here. Our youngest son will graduate in a week. He’s going to live most of the Summer with us and then take a big trip before starting his new job next Fall. At least this Summer, we’re going to have great air conditioning. After 29 years, our old heat pump finally gave up and died. We were actually lucky to get through one more Summer season before that happened. But making the change to the latest in residential HVAC was no hassle at all. That fact is totally a credit to the wonderful HVAC contractor who made the entire process so incredibly easy. When my wife and I tried to start the process on our own, we quickly became overwhelmed by all the options for heating and cooling equipment out there. We turned to this HVAC professional and he presented us with options that were based on our own heating and cooling needs. Plus, we wanted to outfit the house with great HVAC technology as we will probably be selling the house before much longer. Yet, we are thrilled to have great air conditioning for our last child’s last Summer in this place.
