I have never before gone so long without dining in a restaurant since perhaps I was an infant.
- Some of my early memories are with my parents enjoying some extravagant supper somewhere.
I don’t know if I saw either of them prepare a meal inside the central a/c of the family home. That sort of stuff was better left to the domestic staff. Yea, I grew up with some pretty serious money! However, I sort of turned my back on that life when I left for school. I wanted to learn a passion as well as see where it led as far as a career. And my folks weren’t gleeful with that. I ended up paying for school myself, and part of that meant that I had to live inside the dorm with that intense radiant heating all the way through school. But that was fine with me because I was being my own woman for the first time in my life. And that really stuck. However, one of the things that I do find an affinity for from that life is very nice dining. When the pandemic hit, my wife as well as I were stuck inside the high quality heating as well as air of our home like so several other people. And that meant that my pals and I were going out to supper at all. This was somewhat of a tough thing to do without guessing it or not. The first date night that my pal and I had once my pals and I were vaccinated as well as felt comfortable to dine out was a disaster. And it was all due to the fact that the awesome little restaurant didn’t have typical commercial Heating as well as Air Conditioning equipment. It was a real bummer as well as my pals and I haven’t been back. In fact, I’m not sure the doors are even open any longer. Not surprising.
