I’m finally mending but I can’t run any races this Summer.
In fact, I’m not even inside the zone controlled Heating & Air Conditioning of the office suite quite yet so I may not be for some time to come.
I was involved in a very bad traffic accident this last Fall. My normal routine was always to get up before the dawn for a bike ride prior to going to work. This was just like any other bike ride as I rolled out of my garage into the early morning glow. But this time, a drunk driver who had been boozing all night crossed my path & nearly killed me. Thankfully, some skilled surgeons have pieced me back together however it’s come with so much recovery. I spent all winter time pretty much on my backside inside the central a/c of my home. And the Spring has added physical therapy components to the mix. This has been so strenuous as my muscles & joints have lain dormant & traumatized for months. But thanks to the smart control unit, I’m at least able to control the heating & cooling in my home dwelling on my own. Thankfully, I have an awesome spiritual support crew led by my partner. For a while there, I couldn’t do anything at all on my own. It was beyond frustrating for someone as independent as I am. However, that was the case & a little bit at a time, I’m getting my life back. I’m even now working half afternoons remotely from the a/c of my home offices. So even being able to pull up the smart control component app & change the climate control component setting is a triumph these afternoons.
