With all the bananas I eat each week, I occasionally feel like a monkey.

I bet I eat roughly ten bananas a week, which is comparable to the weekly intake of a typical monkey.

I eat one every night with some peanut butter from a container I keep next to my bed so that when I wake up in the middle of the night with a hunger pang, I have some quick calories to fill me up so that I can quickly fall back to sleep. I like bananas because they come in their own little case and are easy to carry around. Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning work can make you hungry, but if you have some bananas, you can eat them and continue working on the cooling system or furnace for the rest of the day. You better believe what I will eat with my kefir today since I am out of the pears I usually eat for dinner this week. I’m going to the neighborhood corporation later this week to stock up on pears in their air-conditioned store. I usually go shopping once every ten afternoons, so this week I will buy ten pears and ten kefirs. Since the climate-controlled store is only about a three-minute walk from my apartment, it is great that they have excellent refrigeration and genuine fresh produce. Since the majority of the food there is local and a sizable portion of it is organic, I don’t have to worry about a ton of pesticides, which is why I like to shop there.
