I recently purchased my first home.
- I have been saving up for a while and I am so excited that I was finally able to buy the house of my dreams.
I moved in about two months ago and so far everything has been going really well. I think that I am going to love living on my own for a while. I made sure that I had all the proper inspections done before moving in to insure that I didn’t have any surprises down the road. One thing that the inspector told me to keep an eye on was the HVAC system. He said that the HVAC system looked good right now, but in a couple of years it might need some real work. Right after the inspector left my house, I called a local HVAC company to enroll in an HVAC maintenance plan. I wanted to pay a small fee each month, so an HVAC professional would come out to my house and look at the HVAC system for me. I hope by doing this that I will be able to save money in the long run. I don’t want to have to purchase a new HVAC system for my home, but if I do at least I will have a fair warning about it. So far, the HVAC tech that comes out to my house hasn’t found anything that I should be worried about. It makes me feel good to be proactive about my HVAC system so that I don’t have to pay a larger amount in the future.
