My bestie & I recently moved in together.
- It’s been a pretty short relationship so far, so I’m interested to see how things are going to work out.
I know that we get along fairly well on a morning-to-day basis, & we have several regular goals. I’m hoping that is enough for things to go smoothly. My pal and I have immense plans for the home that we moved into, starting with the garage downstairs. My pal and I knew that we needed to find something with a immense garage to utilize as a workspace & a studio space. For starters, we like to make furniture & sell it for extra money on the side. Secondly, my bestie is harshly handy & she repairs cars for friends & acquaintances. When we moved in, it was the dead of winter season so the outside air temperature was pretty low & comfortable. Working in the garage felt fine, because we had a small space heater to add a little bit of heat. My pal and I did not need much to improve the indoor air temperature in the mild winter. However, when the warmth of Summer started to settle in, the garage immediately became unbearable. There’s no way my bestie could work on cars in that condition. My pal and I tried setting up shop fans to increase the ventilation in the garage, but nothing helped with the amount of heat & humidity that we experienced each morning. Eventually, we started talking about having a mini split ductless heating & cooling system connected in the garage. My pal and I called out a acquaintance who had some experience in the Heating and A/C industry. Within a few moments of examining our garage space, she told me we did not need to worry about getting a mini split ductless heating & cooling system. Apparently, the garage was hooked up to a separate cooling system, & the thermostat had been well hidden in a utility closet.
