We researched how to make an electric HVAC and hybrid option later and agreed it would be the best for our home. We decided to involve the HVAC serviceman in the process and got the electric heating system well installed. We also got to learn several energy-saving tips such as how the wireless thermostat could be used to turn on the equipment depending on indoor temperatures. All we needed to do was set a number to control how the transition happens. The only thing that sounded like it would need us to keep up with heater maintenance was the HEPA filter change schedule which we were told not to ignore otherwise it would interfere with the efficiency of the entire system and possibly affect our energy consumption.
