I hate having to go to my doctor, but it’s not that I don’t like getting medical procedures done, it’s the cost of having to go. I have medical insurance, but it’s still $100 almost every single time I see my doctor! Once a year I get a discount on my co-pay through getting a free physical. In this case the “free” genuinely just means $50 instead of $100, still I hadrather pay $50 than $100 any afternoon of the week, then at least I have a great doctor too, he prescribes me all of the medications I need without trying to get me to change. Some doctors are genuinely poor about wanting to put patients on weird med schedules at random times, and they suppose that if something is not working immediately, that means they need to change it up plus put the patient on weird medications, however recently I had a pretty poor visit at the doctor’s office. The a/c wasn’t working at all the entire time I was there. It’s genuinely uncomfortable being at the doctor when the air conditioning is not even on. I recognize they could have canceled that afternoon but then they would have had to reschedule everybody who had appointments. That’s when I found out that they had already tied up to get the Heating plus Air Conditioning supplier there for a repair task done. In fact, they told me that instead of just getting the a/c repaired, they were going to get a current a/c all together. That meant that the doctor’s office would have a current Heating plus Air Conditioning system all together. I am consistently glad if my doctor’s office is going to have a current a/c. At least I will not be sweltering in there while in the summer time heat. And then in the winter season they will have a warmer heater as well.
