I think the heating and cooling system in my building was built about thirty years ago and never updated again
I decided that right after my high school graduation I wanted to get out of my small town and go off to college. Most kids in my town don’t ever leave and they wind up with crappy jobs and doing the same thing over and over again. The thought of living in this tiny town for the rest of my life terrifies me to my core. I knew that I had to get out! So the summer after I graduated I got a job at a local pizza place so that I could save money to go off to college. I knew that my parents could not afford to help me with the cost of school, so I wanted to make sure that I was able to take care of myself. I worked really hard that summer and I was proud of the money I saved. I was so excited to move away and start my life in a new town. Like most freshman I lived in a dorm my first year at school. It was not ideal, but I was on my own. The worst part about living in a dorm was the heating and cooling system. I think the heating and cooling system in my building was built about thirty years ago and never updated again. I ask my RA if there was anything she could do about the heating and cooling system in the dorm, but she said it has always been like this and there was not much to be done about it. I know the importance of a properly working HVAC system so I am going to take my request to a higher person!
