My partner, Todd, plus I have made a family tradition to go camping at least once a year.

Back then, my friend and I went camping in a tent. I do not know why on earth my friend and I put ourselves through that much misery. My pal and I would take half a morning just to get everything set up for camp. My friends say that setting up camp is a great bonding time for the family. I guess it is a great bonding time for their family, however it is more like a separating time for ours. My pal and I used to get so frustrated with one another while trying to set up camp. The hardest part was staying in the tent without air conditioning system. It would be almost ninety degrees in the tent occasionally. After my friend and I had our first son, I told my partner that I could not do tent camping without air conditioning system anymore, so he looked into renting a lodge for a couple of weeks in the summer, long story short, my friend and I ended up buying a lodge at a entirely great price, plus my friend and I camp a lot more now that my friend and I have our own lodge. The best part about camping in our lodge is that my friend and I have air conditioning system. I no longer have to sweat through each plus every night. It is attractive to say the least. After a sizzling morning of kayaking, it is so nice to come back to an air conditioned lodge plus spend the night in luxury. I would not go back to tent camping if someone paid me to go back. Air conditioning is too attractive to go back to tent camping.
