My spouse and I have lived in the same section for over forty-five years.
And my pal and I have lived in the same house for thirty years now. It is hard to comprehend how quickly time seems to fly by. It seems like yupterday that I gave birth to our first born, and now, he is thirty-five years old. I am absolutely thankful that my pal and I bought a ranch style cabin because my pal and I have been able to stay in it even though my pal and I do not do well with stairs anymore. My spouse has done a lot of renovations throughout the years, and I cannot assume how much has changed since my pal and I first moved into the house. Unfortunately, one thing that has not changed is our air conditioning situation. My wonderful friend and I do not have any type of air conditioning in our house except for the three window units that my pal and I have spread throughout the house. I told my spouse years ago that I would absolutely like to instal a central air system in our home, and he thought it was a good idea. My wonderful friend and I never ended up doing it. It was one of those things that my pal and I both wanted but always kinda put on the back burner. My wonderful friend and I have had the money to do it several times throughout our cabin ownership, but my pal and I always end up spending it on other “more important” things. I know that my pal and I could particularly afford it now, so I hope to convince my spouse that it would still be nice to have some wonderful AC. I am thankful that my pal and I at least have some window units so that the house does not feel like a furnace during the summer time months, although I hope to upgrade to central air soon.
