I like it when things hastily turn out much better than I thought they were going to be.
That was for sure the case when I recently miscalculated when it came to the Heating & A/C equipment I was replacing.
Thankfully, the Heating & A/C business was able to shift to another type of heating & cooling method which saved my bacon. This was absolutely the first of what I is many, of the rental homes I hope to own. It all started when I took the early retirement offer. It wasn’t straight-forward leaving the zone controlled Heating & A/C of the office I worked so difficult to occupy. But the business was in a salary shedding posture so I wasn’t surprised with the early retirement offer. What was surprising was the fact that it came almost 9 years early. And the offer to leave that zone controlled Heating & A/C comfort of the office was only four percent less than the full thing. It was a no brainer & I jumped on it. But I still had lots left in the tank & wasn’t ready to just fully hang it up. My wife & I have enjoyed renovating all the homes we’ve lived in over the years. So my associate and I decided to combine our talents & buy house to service & then rent. On the first one, I whiffed when it came to the air duct. Once the Heating & A/C professionals were out to inspect, it was too late to update the air duct. But my associate and I went with the ductless heat pumps instead. And that has worked out quite nicely in fact.
