There are very few things that I feel like I am able to actually fix in my house.
I am not able to fix the sink, the toilet, the shower, or anything else that breaks.
However, I do tend to be good at taking care of the HVAC system that I have. The HVAC system rarely ever breaks down. I tend to it often. I clean the air ducts and change the filter. I make sure that I always run the temperature around what it is like outside. The thermostat has never given me any real issues. The biggest problem I have had was when the HVAC system did break down one time. This was a huge issues for me because I did not know what to do at first. I remembered I could look to see if the air filter needed to be changed. I looked at the air filter had seemed just fine. Luckily, I had an HVAC business number right on my fridge I called them right away. The best part is that they came to my house the same day. They looked at the HVAC system everywhere. They thought it must have just been the pilot light that went out. In order to fix this, all they had to do was flip the switch back on. This is what they did. The next thing I knew, the HVAC system started back up again. I was very thankful. I wish other things in my house were that easy to fix. Unfortunately, I think that everything else is a lot more complicated. It seems like everytime I have someone come to the house to fix something, it takes all day. However, when I call the HVAC professionals down the street they fix it quickly for me.
