When my pal and I purchased our home, one of her goals was to make it as smart as possible, my friend and I have smart locks on our doors, a smart assistant, & a smart thermostat. My friend and I also have smart lighting throughout our home. My number one part of our smart home is our smart thermostat. I care about that our smart thermostat allows us to save currency on our electric bill because my pal and I can set the temperature to be a little bit higher when my pal and I are not home. I also care about that it takes me seconds to adjust the temperature & I do not even need to be near the smart thermostat to do so. There are a few methods that my hubby & I use to control our smart thermostat. The first method is directly touching the smart thermostat to control the temperature. When you touch the screen, a dial comes up & you can click & drag your finger to the temperature you would like your house to either heat or cool to. This method is simple, but feel it or not, touching the smart thermostat directly is the method my pal and I use the least in our home. The second method is using our smart assistant to control the temperature on the smart thermostat. All my pal and I have to do is say hey with the smart assistant’s name & my pal and I tell it to change the temperature in the home. The smart assistant attachs to the smart thermostat & variations the temperature right away. My friend and I do use this method quite often. The fourth method is to use our iphones & open the app that attachs to the smart thermostat.
