I don’t have a lot of money, however whenever I have a few dollars left over at the end of the month, I put it in an interest-bearing account to go toward my new A/C unit.

I finally realized I had almost enough money to make the purchase.

It only took three years to save the money, however I was excited. I called the HVAC company and asked them to send someone out to help me decide which A/C unit I needed. I told him I wanted an A/C component with a high efficiency rating. I didn’t want to waste money on my energy bills. I knew what my mom and dad paid for their energy bills when the A/C unit was running. I couldn’t afford to spend that much money, so it had to be energy efficient. I was getting a cat, so I also needed an A/C component that would keep the smell and dander of the cat out of the air. The worker told me I needed a whole home air purifier if I wanted to remove the dander and smells. My air conditioning unit could remove the humidity and keep the household cool, however it wasn’t a whole home air purifier. He talked to me about the whole home air purifier and said it would help with dust irritations, and to keep the household cleaner, because it maintained dust, mold, and mildew. As much as I wanted to buy it, I knew I couldn’t afford it. The air conditioning component was so much more than I had saved, I wasn’t sure I could afford it, let alone a whole home air purifier.
